Stop The Boats Not Working – It’s The Fault Of The Labour Party Who Have Not Been In Power For 13 Years
.......according to Suella Braverman.
As the narrator says, there are a number of racist & bigots who will continue to believe/defend this policy and Braverman (are you one of them?).

You arrive at a recognised entry point with supporting documentation for all members of your party.
Arriving illegally with no supporting documentation having crossed many safe countries where asylum could be claimed is not a legitimate way of doing things and, if the system works, should result in a flat refusal to interact.
There is no universal right to suck on the teat of the UK regardless of what criminal gangs may say to 'clients'.
It's not difficult to understand.

If I was not a UK citizen, and somehow washed up on the UK shore (by whatever means), I would legally be entitled to claim asylum.
If I happened to be a French national, it would be very unlikely that I would have a valid claim for asylum (but it is possible) – after being processed, and with no valid claim the UK authorities could deport me.
However if I could prove that I had fled some war-torn country, suffering religious persecution there; I would most likely be granted asylum status and given leave to stay.

Could we not start employing these"boat people"in a job of some kind.At present my employer is using a Nigerian employment agency to recruit Nigerians to work at our factory.Twenty so far.I cant see them going home anytime soon. They must be working for other companies up here in Aberdeen area as there was about two hundred came over. All speak English, all seem very nice.
ynna, The Nigerians who come to work with you are here legally - the boat people are not. Perhaps some of those intending to come via France from Nigerian might consider applying to that agency.
