I find this fascinating: Zelensky says one thing and Budanov apparently contradicts him the next day.
Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine's SBU security service, is a master at ****ing with the minds of the enemy. He has made many dramatic and seemingly wild statements over the course of the all-out war by Russia. Often he has made predictions that have not come true (the Russians will blow up the nuclear power plant - that one fell a bit flat); Putin has multiple doubles who impersonate him: maybe the real Putin died, and so on.
And who knows? How better to mess with Russian minds when to claim that Russia is being attacked from within (although the claim is not new)
Whether Zelensky or Budanov is correct, the prospect for Putin is not a good one ...

As this is a family show I’ll refrain from going into details.
The Express report mentions Kherson, but I also heard about such places in Kharkiv oblast too.
The successes they speak of in Zaporizhzhya refer presumably to the success at Robotyne I mentioned before. I wasn’t aware of any major breakthrough around Bakhmut although it may refer to advances south of the town.
I have heard that Australia, which is always supplying the flatpack cardboard drones (why not Sweden lol) that have been used to great effect, is also providing a new anti-drone weapon to be deployed against the Russian Lancet drones which have been used increasingly effectively on the battlefield
