But the poor little guy is still improving, bless him. An appallingly long time for the lad to be recuperating.

That was a shocking and appalling crime. I can't imagine the sheer terror the boy or his family must have felt.

It's because of crimes like this and the abduction and murder of Jamie Bulger that I am literally terrified of letting go of my child's hand. I know my fear borders on paranoia but it only takes a splits second.

I'm so glad this little boy is making progress. I wish him a long and happy life.
