i just heard this on the news.
It made me incredibly cross
if they are hiding for fear that the pakistani police will torture them ... why go there?
no matter what happened, how could you leave a 10 yo's body all alone to be discovered by police,i just don't get it

I’m not sure there’s much to ‘get’. The little girl was mistreated and they hopped it before telling our police the girl was dead. If the Pakistani police find them I’m not convinced they’ll do anything about it. The picture of that poor, beautiful little girl wearing makeup chilled me to the bone. God knows what she suffered.

It is my belief that she suffered violent physical abuse over a sustained period of time. Like I mentioned on another thread the other day, there is in cases such as this, nearly always, a jealous, insecure step parent on the scene. I am not pointing the finger at the step mum in this case but that poor certainly child suffered cruelty and abuse.

That poor little angel - I really hope she gets justice.

My first thought was why is a 10 year old made-up and dressed up like she is in the picture. Is that usual for girls of her age? I'm afraid that as well as the cruelty there is another abuse been put upon her. RIP sweetheart.

the step parents is what did it - they dont feel affinity, or even the child is a threat

the other children know about the abuse and do nothing as that is the minimising option for the other four ( let her get the crap beaten out of her and we go untouched)

It is a police thing innit? the Pakistani police can't allow themselves to be shown as uncaring, dilatory thugs. Doesnt the Koran forbid specifically girl-infanticide?

The mother wasn’t even in the picture, why wasn’t the little girl being brought up with her? She should be ashamed of herself. And how did the video, in the news today, get to the press? Who sent it ?

It seems the little girl was beaten to death.

Accidentally though. Someone probably meant to beat her without killing her and it went wrong.

2% of children are not placed with their mothers after a split. ( Lady Di being a famous example - placed with her father the Earl when Mrs Shand kydd did a runner)

so a few more details to come out

Interview with the polkas ( mother and grandmother) implied the child had a serious maxillary injury

From what I have read the father was the custodial parent and the mother had not been able to see her daughter for some time

I am glad that some of you were also feeling discomfort at the photo of the little girl with make up on. It seemed so wrong. She was still a child.

I don't know anything about the mother, why should she feel ashamed of herself? There are many reasons as to why she was living with her dad.
