"Says Britains Top Pollster . Sunak faces a potential wake at the Tory Conference ,with his party heading "Unwaveringly" for a landslide defeat .Writing in the Independant Prof John Curtice says the Cons initial popularity has largely disappeared, and will struggle to win support of voters who backed them in 2019.

Voters are angry at the state of the NHS. (Not the envy of the world as some on here think)They are angry at the economy and immigration.

The Prof also says, the Con party are still trailing well behind Labour and only a little better than their position 12 months ago, after Liz Truss was displaced  as Pm by Sunak ... Not looking good for them as ,

.....The Cons Crucial Conference Commences......

It is just an opinion and polls are notoriously often wrong.

Best wait until after the election to start celebrating.

They are also very very angry gully because they see Boris making millions of pounds off the back of the mess he created, and not only that but the rubbish he left behind, still in number 10. Then you have Matt Hancock and many others doing the same, but making thousands. The people have not forgot, and they won't at the GE. No more false enquiries or investigations that dont go anywhere, all it will take is an big fat X in the right place.

As one bunch of Tory Backbencher said "How can we lose the GE as best as we possibly can"

The public are also angry with HS2 and the waste of taxpayers money ,also the amount of trousering that has gone on between the party and Con Contractors.

Liz just don't get it, like Boris never did. She's history. Wouldn't have her washing up in my kitchen.

12.50Theres that many scams that have been created by the cons, I'm forgetting them HS2 for sure. Then you have Gove on the news this morning kicking off the start of the pre GE bribes, talking about tax cuts, they are that thick they think this old trick will work again

Is there a link?

Nicebloke 12.56 Thought Gove was up north "Levelling up"???

Show his face up north? god help if he does.

^^ Thanks. I think he may have done a "bit" better getting to grips with the 5 pledges he made, people have had their fill of the great, or not so great speeches from the cons that lead to nowhere. Its much to late Sunak to keep spinning this yarn.

Are the Tories running out of ideas, or can't think up any new cons to con the public with , because the ain't very popular at the moment.

13.28 Ideas? they've had plenty over the last 13 years, but thats all they've been. Mybe they are now looking into making some extra strong concrete with the gravel thats just come back from space. :o)
