We're around 90 miles from Edinburgh and have had rain , albeit light stuff  all day but I'm reading of landslides up there in Glasgow?

Yes, Red. A lot of overnight rain on Scottish East coast - golf at St.Andrews posponed till tomorrow,etc.Trains off but restarted.

Yes Haz we are keeping a close eye as we have friends in Lochilpead and that's the route we take every year, and it's and awful diversion if the rest and be thankful is knackered

I am hoping the millions of pounds spent on the A83 in particular at the rest and be thankful will stop the major landslides and the majority will be smaller

RH - I think that the A83 has been closed this afternoon as a result of landslides. Hopefully it will be re-opened soon because it results in major diversions.

Toorak I know they opened the OMR but if the slides are further up your right huge diversion

Same here, Webbo.  OH mentioned the rain up North earlier and, given Bobbi's relatively close proximity, I had visions of her route to Corbridge being flooded...

I suppose the rains are one thing but the two earthquakes 🌎 in Afghanistan 🇦🇫 today are mother nature in a different league.
