Look, to spell it out, If plod are at 100% investigating fraud cases from day to day crooks (which they are) then they will not have the resources to look into what will be a major project and take a lot of man power.  So what will suffer are other fraud cases not a handbag, which plod wouldnt turn out for anyway.

Just look at that stupid Idea Sunak, the then Chancellor and Boris came up with ...."Eat out to help out" it cost the tax payer millions and all it did was give you a free dinner ticket and spread covid "Bipolar".

During the Pandemic the Govt with Boris in charge, suspended it's normal procurement for awarding contracts, and introduced a very highly secretive VIP fast lane for Contracts of PPE equipment to their Cronies. Who didn't even know what PPE meant.All the equipment they supplied was useless.The scale of PPE waste and corruption is sickening ,over £10 Bn went into Blue Trouser Pockets.
