... collective punishment on the many innocents in Gaza, ever turn to the attack on the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto?

A small, lightly armed, force of Jews stood up to the might of the German army during the siege in the 1940s.

One set of lightly armed men are considered heroes, another sub-human scum.

Oh Sandy, and I thought you were from Ireland.

As far as I'm aware, the Jews didn't instigate that battle, sandyRoe.  You have your wires crossed.

I wonder if the Hamas expected no reaction from Israel when they were beheading babies and burning children.

These heavily loaded and frankly to Jews deeply offensive comparisons serve no useful purpose.

You can highlight the real plight of Gazans surely without stooping so low.

Page not available, sandyRoe.  What are you trying to say?

It was a link to a cartoon.

So what are you trying to say?  An explanation would be appreciated.

Do individuals tasked to take actions that will lead to the deaths of many innocent people ever consider their actions?

You could ask Hamas.

11:05, clearly Hamas doesn't

Question Author

TTT,

Yes, they're sub-human scum, aren't they?

TORATORATORA, have you a link to verify the claim, "they were beheading babies and burning children"?

Tora, I am intrigued - who are these 'terrorist lovers' you refer to?

I see no overt support of Hamas anywhere on this thread, or any others.

//Yes, they're sub-human scum, aren't they?//

I think they are, sandyRoe?  Do you not?

Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari of the IDF told newspapers that the emphasis of the israeli bombardment was "damage, not accuracy"

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/10/11/israel-abandon-precision-bombing-eliminate-hamas-officials/

this means they are not making targeting decisions based on military criteria... they are just out to kill people

another IDF official promises to destroy every building in gaza

https://www.skynews.com.au/world-news/city-of-tents-israeli-defence-official-vows-every-building-in-gaza-will-be-destroyed-in-ground-manoeuvre/news-story/203242e24af1dd4757e0250001e7ed8a

i was not aware of these statements before today... they make the "collateral damage" argument look less and less convincing. it seems to me very likely based on these that the IDF has genocidal intentions in gaza.

Corby, this mentions the charred body of an infant - but we really shouldn't be trying to score points - or even discussing which atrocity is worse.  That really is crass.  What Hamas did was inhuman.  I think we can probably all agree on that ... can't we?

All normal thinking human beings would agree, naomi, but once that agreement is reached the ongoing misery suffered by the equivalent of the man in the street needs addressing.

I believe there are very fine people on both sides.

They would be the ones who'd be troubled by their conscience.
