Bbc News In Gaza
I noticed last night the BBC tends to report from Gaza showing Palestinian children being hurt and killed (which is awful and heart wrenching). Do they also show the Israeli side of the war and the children and adults being killed there? It seemed very one sided last night.

This of course is being done in a tone that leaves the listener in no doubt that they deem it to be inhuman behaviour by the Israelis. Meanwhile at home, as thousands of operations and appointments are cancelled due to industrial action by enaichess staff and consultants, they slant the reporting of such to impress upon us that the people causing the delays have their whole hearted support. End the TV tax now.
The Israeli innocents being killed and injured was 18 days ago and the BBC reported on it extensively.
Last night the report was on the 5000+ Palestinians that have been killed since, and the heavy bombardment of a densely populated urban area in Gaza.
The story has moved on. Not forgptten, but yesterday's news.
The media gives you a jaundiced view of the world. Gaza starts a war to kill as many Israelis as possible. And all you see on the BBC and Sky News is dead Gazans. I shudder to think if in World War II, the same media covered World War II, you would have seen far more dead German civilians than dead British civilians. But it takes a very, very frail moral mind to believe that you determine right and wrong by the number of dead…
I said exactly the same thing last night, ' this is awful, but we never saw such coverage of the October 7th atrocities', and they were direct '1st degree' murders.
I suppose in fairness though, the Hamas attack was so unexpected there were no camera crews to film it. There are plenty now waiting to film in Gaza.
The toll figures vary depending on where you look, but I think the Israeli numbers may be more accurate because they are now easier to assess & they show that 1,400 Israelis, the majority civilians, were killed in the Hamas incursion and more than 200 people were taken hostage. Women, children and the elderly were shot without mercy, and some had their bodies mutilated and burned.
trying to work out what he is saying most of the time as I think he is very hard to understand. Much of the time I am no wiser after he has finished talking.
no it is the fella ( pun intended) around Khan Younis - outside the al-Ahl Hospital - very thick Egyptian accent. Non London ( RP) accents are all the rage. The message is clear and simple. "outside there are a lot of dead babies and inside the Hospital there is another clutch. Tomorrow outside the hospital there will be a lot of...."
it is something to do with, if you bomb a residential building the people inside often die.
