Do you know how many innocent civilians were killed in Germany during WW2 compared to British civilians?  The death of innocents is always abhorrent but comparisons of numbers is completely irrelevant.  Hamas are evil and embed and bury themselves in civilian populations.  Many more will suffer and die on both sides but this evil group must be eradicated.

The far left copes with radical Islam by celebrating Hamas. At times it seems many progressive people cope with radical Islam by pretending it does not exist. They cannot look at the Hamas founding charter and see its Nazi-era conspiracy theories about Jews or examine how it enforces a reactionary dictatorship on the people of Gaza. They just talk as if it is not there.

if you really want info on self defence and minimmising deaths of women and children, look at the bombing of Tokyo 1944-5. Curtis LeMay ( bombs  away with Curtis LeMay, presidential statement 1964) - think about 200 000 - LeMay had flattened 20 sq miles of Tokyo and 6 Aug 23 - hey it wasnt flat enough!

So the conventional bombers flattened the flat bits a bit more - and not one GI was killed in the name of Freedom ! That is liberation for you.
