I do, and I haven't seen any that says that the demonstration is to support Hamas.

I am concerned that a good cause that is supported by a lot of people, could be polluted by a bad cause that is supported by a few people - and that is the risk of that demonstration at that time and at that place.  I am concerned about that - I think it could go badly wrong.  I certainly won't be going!  But the demonstration itself is to support the plight of innocent people, not Hamas.

Given what was perpetrated upon innocent people in Israel by Hamas, Israel does have the right to respond.  But that doesn't mean they can do what they like and everybody else would agree with it.  The lowest estimate I have heard of the number of children and babies being killed by munitions that were fired by Israel since 7 October is 2000.  2000 dead children and babies - picture that.  Of course some people are demonstrating, because it didn't have to be like that. And it's still ongoing in the same way ...

This latest stunt, driven by the left wing and the anti Britain hate preachers, is nothing compared to what is liable to happen if Labour ever gain power and officialy endorse the terrorist moements that seek to oerwhelm our way of life. Did you notice the latest display of duplicity and disrespect from Starmer yesterday? He was wearing a poppy, one of the latest plastic free jobbies, during a speech on the Middle East crisis, but remoer it when filming a video to mark islamophobia month. Labour sources refuse to say why it was removed, but insist that it was not removed specifically and was absolutely not a deliberate decision. Liars!

If you ask me, the "denigration" of such ceremonies is more likely caused by people drawing attention - wrongly - in the case of Michael Foot of course to what is perceived as a stepping out of line. The nonsense about the non-wearing of poppies is another case in point.
