If they're sure they've been honest in their treatment of Boris, they shouldn't have a problem ... should they. No, complete non sequitur - being beastly to Boris-Woris is NOT a reason to ban it. He might have to sue - er in personam.
Nadine said: "I took extensive and exhaustive legal advice over the issue of the Radcliffe Rules." PP writes I am not sure if these have the force of law.
Peter Wright's book is so long ago, that I cant remember under what law they banned it - those proceedings were marred by the then Att-Gen sensing that a cabinet member had perjured himself ( economical with the truth)
Oh, for the sixties, when everyone told the truth over Profumo
Peter Wright case ( spycatcher) - the australian judgement is here

In any case, I posit ( I havent posited for a few months),
The appellant claimed that he was entitled to the relief sought on the footing that the proposed publication of Spycatcher amounted to a breach of fiduciary duty, a breach of the equitable duty of confidence or, alternatively, a breach of a contractual obligation of confidence on Mr Wright's part, the alleged breach in each instance being of a duty or obligation owed by Mr Wright to the United Kingdom Government.
big hoolie about even if there were a breaches ( or indeed breaches), should they be enforced in Oz?
I've preordered it just in case it's removed from sale after publication ha. To be honest when I first saw it I was surprised that such a book could exist if it's even half as "explosive" as its blurb (it probably won't be.) If the powers that be do ban it or demand parts are removed, it'll pretty much prove ol' Nads right anyway. Damned if they do etc...
