When I pointed out sometime ago that the Retained EU Law Bill was going to cause the loss of many rights enjoyed by UK citizens (as members of the EU), many on AB stated that previous UK laws would come into force and protect those rights.

This has proved not to be the case, and the government is set pass laws to reinstate those that the Tories begrudgingly will let you have – my mate Phil explains the potential problems (and more) in the video:-

Brexit won't have changed such. It simply returned control to the UK government. It's your government that decides what to do now.
