Evans was well known for saying that she wouldn’t sh*g various male people on that platform. Fox was aware of this overt sexism and reciprocated in kind. Unfortunately for Fox, most of the viewing public were completely unaware of Evans’ misandry and since he didn’t provide any context for his comment, the assumption was that he was being unnecessarily cruel and misogynistic. He wasn’t of course; he was simply pushing back against a thoroughly unpleasant person.
As for Calvin Robinson, his “crime” was to support his friend, Fox. How outrageous! A person supporting his friend against an undeserved attack. Ditto, Dan Wootton.
The fact is, the management at GB News were clearing house. Fox, Robinson and Wootton were ‘undesirables’ in the same vein as Mark Stein. They’re all free thinkers, all anti-establishment to a greater or lesser degree and all of them are therefore a threat to the status quo. Neil Oliver is living on borrowed time. I’d give him about three months, tops.
When the Chief Executive at Ofcom (Melanie Dawes) is a WEF stooge, it can hardly come as a surprise that controversial social commentators are being systematically weeded out.
And as “Mozz71” says, there is a world of difference between an accusation and proven guilt. A distinction often lost on the hard of thinking.
