Transgender Footballer Quits

A transgender footballer whose physical power on the pitch left opponents 'terrified' is considering taking legal action for discrimination after opposing teams refused to play against them.

 

The boycott is said to have followed a player suffering a broken knee when 'blocking a shot' from the trans player Francesca Needham, 30.

Discrimination?  How?  This person is a man playing in a woman's team.  Isn't it time sports governing bodies put a stop to this on-going nonsense once and for all by making a positive decision right now to ban these second-rate sportsmen - who if competing against men would be nothing more than also-rans - from women's sports altogether?

I was giving this post some thought this morning and was wondering if, when the players on the field celibrate a goal by way of hugging and kissing each other and jumping on top of each other in a big pile of arms and legs everywhere, do you think we could well see some claims of sexual harassment. I mean there will be some who wont know who, or what they are kissing and cuddling, or who they are on top of in the celibrating pile. :0)

In these types of thread I really need to correct myself and stop using the phrase "proper women" when women and woman are the correct words to use.

You could however use birth male or birth woman, or none birth.

or maybe not. according to this article, it appears what's to be entered is the infant's gender identity. which would be impossible at birth because babies can't talk and cannot tell the registrar how they identify.

yes the NHS says it's a "system error". which sounds a little implausible in a brand new multi-million IT system that's been years in the planning.

It's not only implausible - it's downright stupid!  Boy babies are boys and girl babies are girls.  What's to identify?

It only seems that way because of attempts to change the common meaning of "gender" to that which the psychologists and psychiatrists use within their field. Everyone knows that the words "gender" and "sex" cover the same thing, as the form clearly indicates, and so this can usually be discovered by examining the genitalia, or in cases of doubt, checking the chromosomes.

 

The mental issue of being unable to accept reality should not change that. If one has an issue one needs to learn to live with it, not impose one's fantasies on others.
