I don't know the detail of how they are funded, but any group needs to cut their coat according to their cloth.

 

If they can show they are hard done by with too little of a UK money pot being handed to them, then let them make the case. But since they seem happy to spend giving citizens there benefits unavailable to the rest, then the suspicion is that they are simply failing to raise the extra revenue they've allocated from those citizens who benefit.
