The Tory Party are now so desperate they are making a last stand before the GE .They want to Bring Farage and Johnson into the Govt .They regard this pair as  political heavyweights and want them to form a pact  to close Labours massive lead.

That's less desperation but more confession from some of them of having common sense which has been put on hold until now.

 

I suspect the Labour Party, given their plans and ambitions, won't have a "massive lead" when the resuls on the next GE are announced. They may be the party with the most votes, if folk still feel a need to protest, but the coalition that gets control need not necessarily include them.

Farage achieved his aim without ever entering Parliament. Who elsed has achieved what they wanted even as PM? They used to say that all political careers end in failure, not any more.
