I don’t know what the woman’s daughter spent 7 hours waiting for, but Sunak clearly wasn’t interested.

As I wasn't there I could not possibly suggest what the joke was.

It has been reported that Sunak wasn't laughing at the lady and that they continued their conversation and shook hands at the end. Does that sound like somebosy who was offended.  

As for taking off my blinkers may I suggest that that you do the same and stop seeing things that you just want to see and stop ignoring the truth.

Sadly we’ve reached the point where if Sunak was to deliberately push over some old lady walking down Pall Mall, the Tory faithful would pour scorn on anyone who was to suggest his behaviour was inappropriate – or heaven forbid there was a video of the encounter, the Tory faithful would be claiming she tripped.

Of course it is. Old ladies do not walk down Pall Mall. It's full mainly of gentlemen's clubs and any old ladies arriving to visit the few top end shops there would arrive either by chauffeur driven Roller or taxi.
