Prince Harry's Lawyer Says Mgn Has Settled Remaining Parts Of Hacking Claim

The Duke of Sussex has settled the remaining parts of his phone hacking claim against Mirror Group Newspapers, his barrister has told the High Court.

David Sherborne told the court Prince Harry had won further "substantial" damages.

The High Court heard the company had accepted an offer to settle the claim made by the prince.

 

I wonder what Piers Morgan will have to say now - I have no doubt that slime ball knew exactly what was going on under his watch!  No doubt he will try to worm his way out of it and blame someone else

I do believe that some ABers are a tad p****d off with the couple because the marriage has lasted a lot longer than many on here forecast.

Someone said earlier that we are all entitled to our own opinions, and mine, for what it's worth, is that Meghan knew she would not be welcome so she has stayed behind with the kids. As for her relationship with her family, who knows what has transpired with all sides telling different tales.

Of course, it's only what I have read, but it's quite widely known that Doria was missing from her life at that time.

Ken, because of the treatment she has received from the public and the press, she did say she would never set foot in this country again.

I think the polls always show them to be down at the bottom, so it's quite understandable that she would want to stay away.

It's a soap.

Not one of knows anything - all we "know" is what the papers say, and we 100% CANNOT trust them.

Notice how every story in the press about them is negative?

Every single one.

Thing is - the chances of them being so rotten that literally everything they do is wrong is slim. Even people that suck on AB occasionally say something nice. Very few people are completely hideous*, but the press want us to believe this. They write real life as a soap opera.

100% negative stories about Harry and Megan.

And there is no 'actual' evidence that the Invisible Man upstairs exists. Yet Morgan is a devout Catholic. Just sayin'😑

I 100% hope that this will be the end of his campaign against the British press because if he carries on, he'll come off worse. The good thing he's done (which so many have been scared to do) is to actually go through with court cases. 

What the press were up to in past was pretty disgusting and they needed to answer for it.

Harry was here for 24 hours or so.  Can you imagine the upheavel for his wife to bring two young children all this way for a 24 hour visit when she would very likely not be seeing Charles herself?  Her husband was back with her and the kids the next day.  Do husbands not often go on short trips without their wife and family?  Honestly some of the comments on here are downright stupidity.

Still the best soap opera around, but a tad repetitive and boring, the media's treatment of H. M. Is dreadful, whilst the ' stepford wife is untouchable and boring and a model for expensive clothing .

Sorry, I can't agree with you there Anne. I think William and Catherine are both lovely people and I'm sure Catherine doesn't spend any more on her clothes than Camilla. I think they are expected to look well dressed just like the late Queen and her lovely outfits.

The only person in the RF who isn't too bothered about clothes is the Princess Royal and I admire her greatly.
