Jeremy Hunt has admitted that he cannot further raise the VAT threshold for UK businesses because of EU Rules. This muppet chancellor announced in his Budget that businesses would no longer have to pay VAT on a turnover of less than £90.000 an increase from £85,000 But he can not raise it anymore because of EU rules. So the UK is still being controlled by the Eu then .

If Westminster had any intent of overhauling the NI protocol and the Windsor nonsense they'd have triggered renegotiation by now, as the NI economy is clearly experiencing sufficient issues. As for Starmer, he has shown no indication of sorting anything. Making more issues maybe, but not solving any.

So it appears the UK still has some laws controlled by the good old EU then .And the Chancellors feeble increase in Wednesdays Vat threshold was restricted by the EU .Wonder just how many other laws the EU has control of  hidden in those Papers that Boris signed without reading them first.🤣

So what this means then is ..If a UK tradesman whose Business has earned £87.000 under the new VAT rules and is offered £4,000 of new business just before the end of the financial year it will be in his interest to reject the offer. Because the EU SAYS SO .Even though his Business is outside of the EU.

Oh dear seems like Brexit wasn't really Brexit but Brexit in .....Disguise.

The oven ready was never accepted by the EU, presumably because it wouldn't cause sufficient problems.
