//Two people have been bailed as officers removed 35 bodies and a quantity of ashes from a funeral director in Hull, police have said.

At a press conference, Humberside Police said it was a "horrific incident", traumatising families.

They also said that they had received more than 1,000 phone calls about it from the public since Friday.

And they added that specialist and forensic teams were searching at "business premises linked to the suspects".//

This is bizarre.  What on earth is going on here?

The Telegraph newspaper reported they were in debt to the tune of £62,000+.

My post at 1344 refers to my very first fatal accident report. A young greek boy was wiped up on the Marylebone flyover outside the nick. He had no ID so another first, for me, was to fingerprint the dead body in the morgue. Had to break the finger joints because of rigor mortis. In order to preserve continuity of evidence I ,again, had to attend the hospital to identify the body that I recognised at the accident scene prior to autopsy. When the corpse was bought out the freezer it was apparent that the stomach had already been cut open. I later learnt from the mortuary assistant that organs had been taken before we actually identified the body. This was sometime after the date of the accident. sometime later two elderly Greek parents enquired at the front of the police office about their missing son who lived with them. I, again, had to attend the mortuary with them to formally identify their son's body. Whilst waiting for the attendant to open the fridge door two oafs knocked on the back door and entered with a tin casket. They spoke to the mortuary attendant who duly opened two drawers . The oafs pulled one body off the tray and threw it in the tin followed by a second on top. Placed the lid on it and carried the casket out the back to their van. This show of disrespect was done in front of the grieving parents who had come to see their son. It happened so quickly and unexpectedly it was to my shame I hadn't the time to quietly usher these good people out and spare them this sight bearing in mind their son was also in one of the freezers. The organs were taken before the parents knew it and sometime after death was pronounced.
