When information is fed to the media by Hamas-run organisations one would hope that doubt exists - but in the case of the BBC, apparently not.

The BBC 10 o clock news was not inaccurate.

They said The Hamas run hospital had reported more than 23,000 dead. They said many of them were civilians.

The IDF admit a far lower figure.

The true figure will be somewhere inbetween.

It's not something that happens much these days.

Exactly what have the right wing got against the BBC? If you ask anyone on the left they'll claim to hate them too, on the grounds that they're on your side. Can you both be right?

Muslims are always buried, never cremated. It is a religious requirement that the body be ritually washed and draped before burial, which should be as soon as possible after death.

When watching news reports of bodies being recovered from mass graves, has anyone else noticed that they're all wrapped as is Islamic custom?   If indeed they did die at the hands of Israeli soldiers it seems odd that their murderers would go to the trouble of paying their victims that level of respect.  In my opinion, figures coming from Hamas are more than a little fishy.

Everyone seems to be accepting the numbers put out by the hospitals in Gaza. There are no alternate credible numbers to believe. Makes sense that the authorities on the ground who are scrapping up the bodies have the more accurate count.

But even if you don't accept the 34,000 figure put out by the Palestinian authorities, if it were were half that, would you that the deaths of all those children and women were acceptable?

But I guess if believe the IDS have only used their smart bombs on Hamas terrorists, then you believe no children and women have been killed. But t the corpses exist.

Gromit, The authorities on the ground are Hamas.  As for 'all the women and children' we keep hearing about - where are the men?   Safe in the undergound tunnels with the terrorists?  None of it makes sense.
