I'd have agents crawling all over northern France sabotaging the boats before they even get in the water. Then I'd be finding the sellers of these boats and buying them all for double what they sell them for. Then I'd get the Border Farce to actually do their job rather than that of P&O. On the news this morning it showed one of the rubber boats being loaded up with refugees in France.  They said that the French police are not allowed in the water to stop them.  Then it showed that there were no police even near the beach, so what are we paying them to do.

I don't think anyone will ever solve this problem. Not in our lifetime. These people are prepared to risk everything to get to the UK. The Channel is one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world. People are risking their lives, knowingly, to get here. When people are like that, I don't think any immigration plan will stop them, no matter whose plan it is. Even if we took extreme measures, there would still be people trying to cross The Channel in small boats. And by extreme measures I mean EXTREME, ie, shoot on sight. Just hypothetical, but it wouldn't stop them, even that threat.
