Should Europe re invade the failed states of Africa and export the civilisation we once did? Clearly "independence" has been a disaster in most cases and their people are so desparate to get to European rule that they risk their lives daily. Discuss.

very poor governance in a lot of african countries, combine that with tribalism, look at south africa it was a thriving country till the anc got in, all being pilfered away just like zimbabwe, rinse repeat all over africa.. do they need a steady hand.

That was so sophisticated that of course Europeans had to convince themselves that there must have been white men there in days gone by to build it. (There weren't).

But the Europeans marched in anyway, bringing the region the likes of Ian Smith and apartheid and calling it civilisation.
