I was going to ask the same thing TSP. What exactly are "British values", because I don't see much love for traditional values from young people in general, no matter what their religious beliefs are.

freedom of religion and not death for apostasy, freedom of thought an dnot death for speaking out (iran for example) equal rights for women, same for gay people and not death for being gay, thats just a few british values.

- Death to anyone who is not in our faith.

- Lobbing Gays off buildings.

- Murdering our kids for falling in love with the wrong person

- Stoning women for the crime of being raped.

- Grooming young women to be passed around as sex objects for perverts.

It isn't the truth.

Opposing Israel's massacre of 35,000 muslims in Gaza is not anti-British. Many British lives were lost in Palestine by terrorists establishing the State of Israel. 
Idly watching the carnage and saying nothing is not British, and not morally right.

On Friday evening, I attended the Whit Friday Band Contest in the village of Greenfield in Saddleworth, just one of many venues for the whole contest. This is a truly British tradition which has fantatsic support from people everywhere in the area. Nowhere, during the evening, did we see anyone of, seemingly, ethnic origin. Not in the crowd or taking part in the contest. I know that Brass Bands are not for everyone, but when you see something like this, you wonder if Farage is on to something.

I too atended a Whit Friday Band Contest in my town which is about 5 miles from Greenfield. My town is a Milltown that had immigrants from India in the 1950s, so we have 4th generation Asian population. The event was kicked off by a Bangladeshi Councillor and I saw some Asian families watching.

My point is, the demographics of Greenfield and my town are completely different, even though they are close to each other.
