Your link says that a 25-year sentence, for a first-time offender, is unlikely. So the slap on the wrist (an expensive slap) is the likely outcome. Has anyone suggested that having the President of the USA as his father could have had some influence? Surely not!

Joe Biden says he is proud of him.

Good. If he was found innocent, we'd never hear the last of it from the MAGA conspiracy morons.

We probably still won't if he's given less than 25 years.

He lied when he filled in a form. Guilty.
Did he use the gun to kill anyone, or unlawfully harm anyone? No.

Has anyone suggested that having the President of the USA as his father could have had some influence? Surely not!

The Lord  Chancellor ( Irvine) had a wayward son who was indicted for waving a gun at someone in the Land of the Free. Guilty. The trial judge thanked Lordy Lordy for not making waves.

His father could pardon him, which is ridiculous.

It won't happen though, not before the election anyway.

They are all from the same rotten system. Corruption Ltd.

Biden has said he accepts the decision of the court, and that he will not use his power to pardon his son.

Biden was asked on tv if he wd pardon him and he said 'no'

just about all the jurors have been questioned ( lawful in the Land of the Free) - and they all ( in a unilateral verdict whatever that is) thought he was addicted and knew he was when he bought the gun ( and filled out the fatal form)

or in short - 'he did it'
