Besides his criminal conviction on 34 felony counts, Trump been found civilly liable for sexual assault, and the Trump organisation (that he leads) has been found criminally liable for over a dozen felonies, including tax fraud.

Farage hasn't selected the candidates. Maybe he just thinks Trump will do a better job as president despite his obvious misdemeanours in other areas. (And it can't hurt to have the US president as a buddy!)
