I have always voted for the same party (as a lot of people do) but have become a bit disillusioned with most of them.  This is the first election where I havent' known who to vote for.  But Keir Starmer - my God what a drip.  He looks like he is going to burst into tears most of time. I wouldn't trust that man to run the country.

What did you think of Boris's appearance then?

.....and Boris had the services of a professional hairdresser.

I think it might have been the same hairdresser as used by Michael Fabricant.

The OP is about Keir Starmer.

I thought the question was about not knowing who to vote for with an assessment of Starmer's demeanour.

I think he has the look of a Methodist lay preacher.  But after the roller coaster ride with the Tories in recent years, sober and steady could be just what we need.

It's the singer, not the song then?

One thing which is eternally in Keir's credit is booting Jeremy Corbyn out of the Labour party.  However, as someone who once said Corbyn "would make a great Prime Minister" it doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

I always think of Boris a farmers boy throwing bales of hay up into the hay loft and one day he missed.

Boris has already been found guilty of misleading Parliament Will he be found guilty of misleading the public after the election.       😎Lock him up😎

"I thought the question was about not knowing who to vote for with an assessment of Starmer's demeanour."

I thought so too, but more than half the replies have been about Boris Johnson (whom some are still infatuated with) and Jeremy Corbyn

It takes the heat of Starmer.

Gulliver, Boris Johnson isn't standing for election.  Stick to the topic.  This is the News section - not your playground.

ignoring national issues for now and looking to vote for the only candidate in this constituency who has actually been door-knocking and not relying on Tik-Tok, Instagram or Facebook to do their campaingning. in other words someone (once elected) who might actually be interested in their constituents.

Starmer reminds me of my first husband. A total champagne socialist. He doesn't represent true Labour ideals, he just chops and changes to get to title of PM. Once in he will be a pushover, he's weak and wet.

10.39 Naomi "It takes the heat of Starmer"  Who is the red hot tip ..To win the General Election..

Gulliver, the OP thinks he's a drip.

Well I have voted.  Wont affect the outcome round here but at least I have put a stake in the ground.

As for SKS, I wouldnt worryt about him he will be gone within months after he gets into No10.  Probably be the same for Rishi if by some miracle he got in.  And as for Sir Ed Davy he has some serious questions to answer about the Post Office Scandle so I dont suppose he will be around for much longer either.

Did you trust Cameron, May and Johnson to run the country?
And how did that turn out ? 😂
