Labour criticised the tories for dragging Cameron off the red benches. Now Sir Beer does it twice himself! Surely with 411 MPs he must have enough to fill the cabinet!

412 seats..end of

You're going to tire yourself and the rest of us out, Tora.

Stop lashing out, it's bad for you.

3? Hermer/Timpson/Vallance (I could be wrong)

Yvette Cooper, Home Secretary?  Oh my!

Talent   ...  Rayner, Lammy, Miliband??? Haha. Laugh? I nearly did. They couldn't muster up a coherent thought between them. Starmer is not much better and he had charisma bypass treatment many years ago. It obviously dulled more than the humour detectors. In fairness Reeves looks to have a brain. Unfortunately she will put it to use applying the economics of  envy and redistribution of assets from the ones who earned them to those who don't deserve them.

And Lammy immediately plays the race card.

Lammy is foriegn sec? gawd elp us!

You lost,get over it.😂😂😂😂

No kissing and making up for Diane Abbot?

SKS could have found her a role to show he's letting bygones be bygones.

"The cabinet meeting will focus on what Labour calls its "first steps" which include - among other things - economic stability, cutting NHS waiting lists and tackling illegal immigration."

Now, where have I heard that before?

Let's all come back in a couple of months and see how he's doing.

She should have been appointed Northern Ireland Secretary sandy.

That plum job has gone to Hilary Benn. If he has half of the conviction of his father, he'll do.

but I cannot believe out of 411 MPs they haven't got a better candidate than MAABOF Lammy.

TTT It's not about talent - no way !  He ticks the so called  'diversification' box.

Choosing the most talented people for the most important jobs went out long ago in the Labour party.

IKEA, Cabinet, planks of wood, loose screws...

No, it won't come to me.

David Lammy as Foreign Secretary is an interesting choice- someone who voted to invade Iraq.

Regardless of who ends up forming the UK government – I’ve always thought that if you randomly select 400 or so people off the street, you would not have the talent amongst them to run a company, let alone the country.  And it must be even worse when most of those 400 believe themselves worthy of representing others.

This is amply demonstrated by those Tories who have lost their seat in the election, who have no discernable qualities that would make them employable.

He'd be an 'interesting' choice for any position.

I guess the PM has to work with the resources he has.

I think the cabinet looks all right, with nothing to make a surprise. Starmer said they had been planning eighteen months for government and he also must have been thinking about a cabinet.

Talent in the form of Angela Rayner, David Lammy and Ed Miliband?!  What a joke!
