Should there be a public inquiry into what has happened to the colossal amount of Tax Payers money paid out to the  Con Crony Club while the Tories were in power .                 Like the £200m to Michelle Mone and husband .               Matt Hancock and his pub landlord supplying useless PPE Equipment. Rwanda,  HS2, etc etc. It is calculated that the Tories Squandered £130 bn of tax payers money since Boris was elected PM.

Looks like Labour squandered money on Rwanda. They scraped the deal after the money was spent, and apparently were naive enough to think they'd get a refund, presumably to compensate for the additional encouragement their act gave international criminal gangs and illegal immigrants, both.

I am sure that a lot of that is being looked at. The ongoing covid enquiry is looking at VIP lanes and PPE spending.

It is indeed looking at many other aspects of the covid polices and practices. I assume gromit only mentioned these lanes of the enquiry as they are mentioned in gulliver's post.

 I just can not understand why, or how. The Baroness Mone Fraud was just kicked into the long grass and she was allowed to step onto her Luxury Yacht and sail away into the BLUE yonder with her Bras stuffed with taxpayers money.

You do indeed have difficulty understanding this...and many other things as is demonstrated by most of your posts. Mone has been and is still being investigated. Ask the present government what's happening now. Do you have no confidence in them to ensure its investigated fully and followed up

HS2?  I think you'll find it was a certain Rishi Sunak who scrapped it.  Would you like Starmer n Co to resurrect the idea?

The VIP lane was very dubious, but it was Government policy and Mone followed the rules. I am not sure fraud on her part can be proved. She lied about it, but that won't send her prison.  
 

The architects of the scheme which encouraged opportunists and favoured friends of the Government, are the ones who should be being asked difficult questions.
