25D, "Fish about to appear in a small rought section of, e.g., The Tweed? (3). Torn a bit between RIP, RAG, and RUG. The last one may have more merit included in "(R)o(U)(G)ht". Lough Gur is a lake. Rag may be favoured, with GAR a fish. Thanks in anticipation.

I would go with 'rag' as it's an anagram of 'gar' (fish)

 

^ ... and tweed is a rough material, a small piece of tweed could be a rag!

I agree, because that makes 27A GUESSED which makes sense.
