Not that much of an issue. There are regular flights for astronauts and supplies. Just a case of arranging some with space to bring a guest back.

Well, I'm a bit concerned about these two astronauts. Have they got enough food, etc. to last them until they can get back to this planet?  Can they rely on the technology to bring them home? I note that at least one of the capsules has been built by Boeing. Surely that's enough cause to worry? It all seems to have been played down, but are those two really in a fix?

It certainly does, considering SpaceX has sent nine crewed flights to space for Nasa, as well as some commercial missions. Or is it yet another clumsy, cantish, attempt to extol the false virtues of nationalisation and communusm? The only mistake NASA made is to get involved with Boeing.

noop ( I can write noop without being deleted, as you are not a mod)  - NASA after challenger was regarded as having all the drawbacks of a fed-funded organisation

and the current view was that private companies do it  much better so they were given the contracts

I dont think I cd step into a space craft without asking " Am I gonna die?"

It LOOKS as tho they knew it was not all Ship shape and bristol fashion when they sent it  up

The private companies just didnt do what they were expected to do - supply clean water at a moderate cost and efficiently. Instead they effectively asset stripped
