Good luck to them, and best wishes for an eventual safe return.

It must be the most amazing experience. I wouldn't mind being stuck up there for a few months.

But what happens when they need the loo?  What do they eat?  And when it's her (scuse me) time of the month??

They're banished to stay outside.

Remember the tagline from Alien, "In space no-one can hear you scream".

I saw a part of it. I thought the conference was a bit schlocky. I wondered if they had been coached.

"8m  instead of 8d - nothing more wonderful could have happened to either of us"- - - like yeah

I'm sure they're desperate to get home, but what else can they say?

Unsure why folk are convinced that their statement isn't genuine. 8 month experience of a lifetime ?

imagine the impassioned good byes when The Day comes.

" will I come out of this alive?"

" we hope so"

They may be stuck for a while but they aren't totally cut off. Supplies can be sent up & as for their personal requirements I'm sure that's all well sorted with the numbers of people who have spent extended periods at the space station previously...

And there are other people on the ISS, around 10 I think.

The big problem is what Space (extra radiation, loss of gravity etc ) will do to thier bodies.

Thank goodness for Elon's Space X though.

A Russian stayed up for 437 days...

Rest his soul.

And how is he dave?

Probably fel out of a window at some point if he got unhealthy.
