OG, clearly you and I appreciate it differently.  I find the results of the impact impossible to imagine.   For example a tsunami at least 800 metres high is just incredible.

Allways have a backup plan.

I'm amazed how they can prove this 66 million years later.

I'm as thick as two short planks when it comes to science but Ive always wondered how come the dinosaurs were wiped out but other lifeforms (from which everything today obviously evolved) wern't?

Iron Age dome mate. Very effective.

Ever seen a dinosaur 🦕  go down a mouse hole. . The dinosaur needed tons of food a day. Small mammals not as much.  They simply ran out of food because the plants didn't grow. Due to lack of light.

Naomi, Interesting 🤔👍

Bigger creatures have larger needs. Unsurprising then that the small found the resources they needed while the larger had no chance. That stated it seems that the dinosaurs were becoming fewer well before the asteroid hit. It helped speed that trend up.
