Last week the Serious Fraud Office investigated the building of a hotel and conference centre in Birmingham by the Unite Union, using £112 million of its members money: the complex has since been valued at £29 million.

I'm not at all surprised to hear this though...

They've learned how to do this by examining government contracts for massive projects. Just an homage to the underhand dealings so prevalent in the construction sector espescially when joined with a lack of effective oversight.
