Accidental Delete Of An Outlook Email

I accidentally hit delete but didn't notice which email I had highlighted at the time.  Is there a way to recover the last item deleted? Or can the deleted file be arranged by date of deletion rather than date originally received so that I can be sure of what I have deleted?

Thanks

Thanks.  But i don't know what email was deleted so I can't look it up by name.

Take a look at this thread.  At first glance it will seem irrelevant to your question, as the post is from someone using the Outlook web app (and I'm assuming that you're using the Outlook software on your PC).  However the first reply there is from someone who says that sorting deleted emails by the date of deletion can't be done on the web app but who then goes on to explain how it can be done using the Outlook for Windows desktop app (which, as I understand it, is what you want to do).  So perhaps it might help?:

Thanks so much Buenchico - that worked a treat!  I was able to go straight to the email that I had deleted - and it was an important one!

Follow-up question - how do I change it back to the deleted folder showing the emails in the date order that they were received?  I can't remember/don't know what the previous 'normal' settings were!

Thanks.
