A Treasury minister, who, which one, wheres the link?

This is the first time the Govt has commented on how much the impact of Brexit has so far been felt .This warning should be an alert for Keir Starmer to pursue a post Brexit reset of a relationship with EU Leaders ....Go for it Starmer sooner rather than later.....

Thecorbyloon... why do you  do gulliver's links for him? Do you not think he should make the effort himself? It seems odd to me.

I bet keir doesn't get us back in, but if he gets new terms agreed with the EU and wins a rerun of the ballot so be it. But he won't.

"....Go for it Starmer sooner rather than later....."

Seems it might have to be later:

You're being hoodwinked, gulliver, but that's nothing new.

11.00 Webbo .......You ain't gonna believe it but the treasury ministers name is "Tulip".....Tulip Siddiq

Question Author

Webbo in a few years time the Surname Siddiq will be a  good old fashioned English name, so will Badenoch or even Sunak . Bit of a change  from  Smith, Jones or Walker,I suppose.

Thecorbyloon... why do you  do gulliver's links for him? Do you not think he should make the effort himself?

in order to advance the discussion, and not just attack poor old  Gulliver's person - which evern some mods do !

Siddiq - by the way means friend but here is probably is form II -  "truth" - Ayyeeee a minister telling the truth is indeed a radical thought !

Gulliver I have asked you on two previous postings, why, as you purport to live abroad, do you worry about how Brexit affects the UK?  You did once reply that although you live abroad the knock on effect of Brexit impacts on you where you live. I asked for two examples, guess what I am still waiting.

NMA, would you rather the thread were dominated by requests/demands/criticisms relating to the lack of a link, instead of an actual discussion?

Curious, is it not, that now that gulliver has his fervent wish for a Labour government granted, he still bashes his gums about the Tories (who at the moment really do appear to be a spent force) and Brexit?

I am not alone in hoping that the miraculous improvement in the nation's fortunes promised by Labour does, indeed, materialise.

We'll be watching closely....

The corbyloon that's very good of you but you'd be very busy if no-one included links and you had to every time. Teach a man to fish etc

gramps85 – your argument on the absolute disaster that Brexit is to the UK economy (and the further damage that it is yet to inflict), is that since it might be having no negative effect on Gully, we don’t need to take any action to try and fix this disaster.

Question Author

Gramps 11.55... Too much information is not good for you.

Even the spooks acknowledge what a disaster Brexit has been for their operations; is there anyone left who has a cogent argument in support of Brexit?

gramps you are trying to get sense out of idiots.

Hymie, your statement shows exactly how you misunderstand what is being said. gulliver said previously that Brexit will adversly affect where he lives. He's also been asked previously what these detrimental effects are. He hasn't yet given that answer.

In this thread, Gully made no reference to his personal situation (why bring it up?), only what an absolute disaster Brexit is to the UK – most ABers seem to be blissfully unaware of this, despite Gully’s posts on the subject.
