As for abortions, surely leaving it to the individual States is the best compromise? Many forget the USA is effectivly a bunch of countries not one. The problem currently both sides have their extremes.
Still, we shall see.

That said I am disturbed at the obsession the US seems to have with this issue. I am probably a bit liberal here but I'd leave it up to the praegnans.

I'm not sure about those 'hard won rights'. I believe in a women's right to choose. I'm not an Amercan (though I've lived and work there)
But could you vote for a woman who is supporting self ID, male fetishists invading women's spaces and sports, and the child abuse that is puberty blockers, double mastectomy and early menopause and osteoporosis for teenage girls, the castration of boys and effective sterilisation of both sexes ? How many real women want that ?
Harris was unelectable because of her support for this madness, and I'm for one, glad she isn't heading for The White House.
