Got a wee bit of an issue with getting back into my screen after Windows goes to sleep. Normally, I click on the space bar, then a box emerges centre-screen for me to click on that and, hey bingo, I am in.
However since yesterday, I move my mouse over this box, go to click on it, left hand part of the mouse, and nothing happens. To get back in, I have had to reboot and that is a pain in the proverbial. Not least in Word it means a recovery and then in having to use F7 to run the dictionary to take out all my 'wacky words' that aren't in the standard built-in dictionary already or I have to live with them showing a squiggly red line underneath them which bugs me somewhat.
The mouse is working fine on all other functions (that I have used so far). What possibly could be the hang-up and then the cure. Temporarily so, I have gone into power and settings and moved the sleep boxes over to 'never'.....
Thanks in advance....
