I do agree but if they are going to charge more we need larger spaces. The size of parking spaces does not seemed to have changed very much over the years. I remember my dad had a triumph 2000, that was considered a big car, it's not as wide as a Nissan Micra today! The spaces though are still the same size.

My local car park was resurfaced recently. Good everybody said, an opportunity for larger bays. Yes, they repainted them larger, unfortunately not wider but each line is now a useless one third longer.

11:43 Like all cars registered before 23/3/2006 my VED is set as band K in this table regardless of emmissions has been for a long time:

It is also ULEZ compliant. If anything older cars are a lot cheaper.
