Difficult?

Is it just me or are the puzzles now harder? 

I managed this week's before my bedtime ( just!) but the previous one was nowhere near finished before I was put up. 
I'd be interested in hearing how others have fared.

You're quite right, stevenj! Many crosswords really have become harder, more technical! I now stick to crosswords with plain and simple clues. It's less taxing on the old brain!

Not just you steven, they are definitely harder. Did okay this week  but the last couple of weeks they have taken two or three days.
