We've heard no more about the "explosives" in the car which didn't detonate. I don't think he expected to survive either by that or being shot.

As I've said earlier whatever his motives were, islam was somehow involved. He now says he hates islam, but he apparently hates the German Government & police more.

I think in his warped mind he thought that they would be blamed for his actions.

I once knew someone who committed suicide and the note he left indicated that he thought in his crazed mind, along similar lines, viz. that another named person would be blamed for what he'd done, not him.

I've read that, untitled, not convinced.

I wasn't convinced Abdul Ezedi was a Christian, I was not convinced Axel Rudakubana was Christian either.

he has publicly called himself an atheist several times on his X page and has publicly criticised islam and the german government for permitting muslim immigration. the fact of the matter is you are not interested in confronting how close your own politics are to this terrorist and insist that he is a muslim for no other reason than that he is an arab. well your ignorance and incuriosity is not evidence of anything more than your narrow and rather hateful worldview.

re: why he did it, we will have to see. he clearly hated the german government for what he perceived as complicity in an "islamizing" conspiracy theory and if he's anything like Anders Brevik (or indeed some ABers) then he might view some sections of German citizens as being complicit too.
