If there was any evidence (real or at least a passable facimile) to convict and remove Galloway from office, the powers that be who find Galloway a troublesome anti-war irritant would have used it by now.
Despite so many of his statements and critisisms being proved to be accurate and valid (even by the doubters in hindsight), nothing to date has been 'proved'!
However, it is almost irrelevent now as mud sticks, and the press (briefed by Labour party officials) have successfully convinced the majority of the British public into ridiculing one of the last (albeit unpopular) critical voices in Parliament.
A successful result, as long as we are all happy that no one in the future should be allowed to question or be critical of Government policy.
