I love these type of programmes, where Joe Bloggs and his wife go around looking for new houses, probably cos I am nosey and like to look behind the curtains of other people's homes. But why is it, most of the time at the end of the programme, they announce that the people who want to buy somewhere haven't even got their house on the market -- do they just want to be on the telly? Especially if they are 'buying' abroad .. a free holiday !! How bad is that ?

I would imagine to people who would ideally like to move, or it has crossed their minds, it's a way of someone else doing the work of looking for houses, a free holiday, or just getting on TV.
Oops...as I was saying....
Must be more for getting on TV, as although it'd be free, they know that they will be taken somewhere for one week that they didn't like, and on their own holiday will be stuck with people they more than likely won't get on with. Doesn't sound like a great holiday to me, whether it's free or not!
