Explain that you understand you are contracted, but will have to move on regardless at some point and will help them find a replacement. At the very least, research what your contractual position is so you don't extend beyond what you have to do. Getting a part time job may give you some money and get you away from the house for periods, making you fell better.
There's a lot to be said for positive action. I was in a position similar to yourself several years ago, and did the above,. Although I spent three months with no money whilst working every minute of every day, it made me happy when I moved on knowing I had fixed the problem myself. It was the best thing i ever did.
Remember, there is always the chances they'd rather have a flatmate leave before the contract ends than one who plays annoying music loudly whist sulking?

I have to say this was one of the most stressful and depressing periods of my life. HAving an uncomfortable home environment can really run you into the ground. I did a simialr thing to AllYourBase and stayed out of the house as much as possible. Join any local clubs, gym etc and make new friends whilst staying out of their way. Until you can move on, keep your head down and try to just get on with your life. If you get caught up in the petty nature of this it'l only drag you down!
Hope it gets beter
I was once in a similar situation, I got a friend to come down to visit, went out and got drunk. Upon return to said house, we flattened one of the girls umberellas (she had left it out to dry), spilt beer everywhere then ****** in one of the girls shoes. Suffice to say they no longer spoke to me at all, which suited everyone.
What you need is staying power...whatever they do/say, do ten-fold back.
Whilst some may find this approach immature, it worked fine for me.
