Any other mum's lonely on Mother's Day?
Hi there,
I have recently split up with my boyfriend and have been keeping myself busy working part-time, looking after my 3 year old boy and making plans for finding somewhere else to live. Today I have rather hit a brickwall. I'm not too bad but I just feel very lonely! I have cleaned the house, done the washing, looked on ebay for anything going! My mum is away with friends and isnt very sentimental anyway so not heard off her today, apart from a text. My aunty is away, my 2 best friends are out with their mums and I'm at home while my little boy is very busy playing with his power rangers. I feel a bit plop to be honest! I want to be taken out for a couple of glasses of wine and a bite to eat! It's not my sons fault as he is only 3! What can I do? I've only got the ironing to look forward to! (believe it or not, i was going to start it this afternoon and then decided to "save" it for something to do later!!) I'm only 26 and feel like a lonely old woman!! Let's have an answer bank Mother's Day party for all Mum's everywhere that feel lonely!!
Pour me a glass of champers and pass me a chipolata!!

Think of those of us who don't have their mum any more, and send yours another text telling her you love her.
Then come round here and do my ironing!
Thanks to those of you that have cheered me up! I know I have felt (just a tiny bit) sorry for myself and I'm sorry if I annoyed people by doing so. I'm so lucky to have my boy (I lost one pregnancy 6 years ago and I'm sure others feel worse than me today if they have been through the same.)
My little sunshine boy is my ray of light!
I made my mum a card and rang her but she was too busy drinking with her friends. That's the way she is and I accept that, although it hurts! I'm still lucky to have a mum though so I appreciate that.
I have eaten a whole pizza and now I am going to eat my chocolate cake bought by my friend on behalf of my son! YUM! (with my Cava- well I can't afford Champers!!)
Hope everyone is ok. xxxx
