i recently found out my 15 year old school has been bunking school for weeks to be with his girlfrien. when i found out i tried to ground him but he just walked out and stayed at his girlfriends,i have had the police bring him back a few times but i dont want to waste any more of their time. the girls mother does not care and is allowing them to smoke and drink,im affraid he is going to end up on something much worse and dead in a gutter somewhere.he does not want to come home although i want him here but cant force him. i dont want him living at that house, does anyone know who i can contact to have him removed as im getting to a point where i feel like giving up and leaving him to it

legally he is still a child and if his girl is the same age and her mum maybe is allowing them to sleep together then you would have grounds for prosecuting girls mum and banning son from going to their house but dont think thsat would stop him from seeing gf. perhaps you need to speak to the children service and explain whats happening there experts on children and young people apparently, the last resort would be to place him in a childens home which i hope can be avoided please talk to the proffesionalls and to your son. good luck .

Sorry to hear what you are going through, I have teenagers they can be a nightmare, I have found a great site that offers loads of help and support and its so good to know you are not the only one going through this. it is raisingkids.co.uk.

Hope this helps you, sorry I've no advice on what you can do but I am sure they will be able to give you good advice.
