Depends on what the US do now, N Korea have said that if the US launch a pre emptive attack on N Korea then they will launch an 'annihilating' nuclear strike.

Basically thats the equivalent of saying 'come and have a go if you think you're hard enough'

Actually, they launched three, the first failed, four minutes into flight, and the US has called for a meeting of the UN over it.
Just have to wait and see.

I agree the range of the N Koreans capacity is effectively defensive theyre's a tiny bit of Alaska they might be able to hit but Japan and South Korea are the only realistic targets.

I don't think anybody seriously considers they'd do that pre-emptively - I wouldn't see the Chinese supporting them. It'd be suicide.

They're just telling the US not to get too many big ideas about regieme change. Bit like Iran

Its basically a negotiating tactic, I think. NK are a bit miffed that everyone is focussed on Iran, and they want the world and particularly the US to come to the negotiating table and offer them some goodies.

I don't think Maxximus despises the West, I just think he's aware like me of it's shortcomings and hypocrisy and doesn't think the lights will all go out when it stops bending over.No person, place or race is universally perfect, we're all flawed in some way and not to recognise that just because we are talking about whole cultures is very naieve.
