Ok....we had our heatwave here in edinburgh.....it lasted for a total of 4 hours...now the thunder's started again! This isnt a question...just wanted to express my dissapointment. I hope mother nature is reading this...

hey but Rufio...we've had some great weather over the last few weeks, and it is eastern Scotland, after all. I'm in East Lothian btw and have been loving the storms. Were you wakened at 4am the other night? Spectacular storms, and I've never seen so much rain. When it started earlier today, I was out in the gardem with my wee boy, who stood in the rain watering the garden with his watering can lmao bless him :o) do you know Wonderwoman1 by any chance? She's in Edinburgh too lol

No i don't know her...yet lol. Aw bless your wee laddie! I love thunderstorms, i just like having a bit of a tan better! And as for waking up at 4am...a herd of brass instrument playing elephants couldnt wake me once im asleep!

I know, got a wedding at The Hub on Friday, strappy dress would look a bit better if I was a wee touch more tanned. Still, better than my usual shade of white I guess.
oooh, more thunder here...and it's got qwuite dark, need to get to the window to look for lightening.

We seem to have missed the thunder over in East Kilbride - thankfully. I am such a big baby , I absolutely hate it and sit with my knees knocking , praying for it to end. I frantically run around the house switching off tvs and being the baddy , unplugging the playstation and basically everything electrical. My eldest daughter (8) loves it but my three year old daughter and my baby son hate it and look to me for comfort so I have to feign awe saying 'wow , that was a great one' every time there is a flash off lightning and a loud rumble so that I don't frighten them with my fear.

Good to see the sun in Scotland again all the same. Every day I get the ears nipped off me about when we can put out the paddling pool again so it was good to finally make use of it. It had been getting used as a goalpost for a while by my tomboy eldest daughter ! Still , at least it was getting used for something.

hey Rufio....well you can't complain today babes, can you? If anything, it's tooooo hot. have had to put wee guy inside for his nap, as it's cooler than outdoors. Smashing, will be looking tanned and gorgeous for wedding tomorrow. Well, tanned anyway ;o)

Booooooo!! Dirty great big rain cloud just blocked out the sun!!! No happy like, no happy. Oh well, never mind.
