How will the Lebanon Conflict End....?

Anyone have any opinions as to how the current conflict will end? Will it be resolved, just get worse, or do you think some outside force will step in?

The lebanon conflict can only end in one of two ways,

(1) The destruction of Israel,

Or

(2) World war Three.

I'm not defending either sides present actions, but both the Palestininans and Hezbolla, have on their mandate, 'the total destuction of Israel, and until they take it off, War is inevitable.

Sorry Dizzieblonde, but you seem to have missed out on the news over the past few days. The "outside force has already stepped in". The US has supplied Tel Aviv explosive materials last Saturday and Sunday. This is a one way conflict whichever way you look at it!

But I thought that Syria and Iran were supplying Hizbollah with 'explosive materials' so how can it be one way ? or have I missed something.....

Speculative maybe. But I'm referring to the last three weeks and the killings of innocent lebanese in Lebanon. The only foreign force that has stepped into the current conflict is US with the supply of explosives despite disapproval from the rest of the international community. Realistically this is a one way conflict as these groups are no match to the mights of americans supplying Israel with these weapons. I thought that was obvious to everybody?
